Summer in the Park (Fitzgerald Park, Cork)

Cork City Council have recently announced Summer in the Park, a collection of events taking place in Fitzgerald's park between May and September 2015. Events include musical and theatrical performances, film screenings, picnics, aerial classes, craft workshops and much more!

Family Fun Day at Blackwater Outdoor Activities (2nd April)

A great day was had by all Munster-based Five Rivers families, foster children and staff who attended the support day that took place at Blackwater Outdoor Activities, where both adults and children took part in activities such as zip lining, high ropes and the climbing wall.

Fostering Information Evening With Five Rivers Ireland (Carrigaline Court Hotel)

In attendance will be Five Rivers Fostering social workers and some of our current foster carers. We will be giving a short presentation on fostering and answering questions.

The Munster End of Year Celebration took place on 16th November. Over 60 foster carers, children and staff  attended for a day of fun-filled activies, which included ziplinging, snowboarding, and the Leap of Faith. Five Rivers Ireland would like to thank the Glen Resource Centre for hosting the event and making the day enjoyable for all.
