The IFCA have extended their Helpline service from 10am to 3pm Monday through to Friday.

The Irish Foster Care Association National Annual Conference is on 23-25 October 2015.

They are now calling for Workshop Proposals.

The Irish Foster Care Association National Conference brings together all those with an interest in foster care - including general and relative foster carers, health and social care practitioners, youth workers, academics, students, teachers, policy makers, members of the community and voluntary sector – to learn together, engage in dialogue, share their experiences and best practice.

The Mayo Branch is spearheading the Regional Seminar in the Ard Ri House Hotel Tuam, Co. Galway on 7th February, 2015.

The Seminar theme is Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorders and the main speaker is Dr. Kieran O’Malley who is well known for his work in this field.
