On the 5th November 2016 Five Rivers Fostering held a cultural awareness day in our Kilkenny House. This was attended by foster carers, birth children, foster children, staff and external organisations such as the Meath Traveller Group. The day was organised to recognise and celebrate the different cultures amongst our foster carers and our foster children. There was a great turn out on the day with various foster carers from various cultures getting involved in presentations and cooking samplers of their traditional dishes.
