Stress, Behaviour, and How we Respond to Children

Many children in care will have experienced a number of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). This article by Jared Keller will have a lot of relevance for the experiences of foster children. How foster carers and other adults with responsibility for children understand behaviour will greatly inform the quality of their response. This can turn situations of stress or difficulty into opportunities for learning and development for children and carers.
